Protein Partnerships available as Book & Claim option in 2027

The Book&Claim option under QS Soja plus in Germany and AMA pastus+/Soja plus in Austria will remain in place beyond 2026 and therefore also after the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) enters into force.

Take this opportunity to balance soya volumes that have not yet been certified as deforestation- and conversion-free through Protein Partnerships with Donau Soja. (For the relevant requirements, please see the ‘Soya Plus’ modules from QS and AMA)

By using Protein Partnerships, you support sustainable soya production* in Europe for Europe, with the same requirements for farmers inside and outside the EU.

Why this matters:

  • Reduced import dependence: Every Protein Partnership strengthens European soya production and makes us less dependent on overseas supplies. The EU’s self-sufficiency rate still stands at only 8%
  • EUDR-compliant and already one step ahead: Our certification* guarantees deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains, regardless of regulatory changes or deadlines
  • Fair conditions: Your support strengthens European farmers and helps create a level playing field for farmers inside and outside the EU
  • Reliable availability: You help ensure the long-term availability of non-GM, responsibly produced soya* in Europe

The impact of Protein Partnerships:

By purchasing Protein Partnerships, you support sustainable soya production “in Europe for Europe”. * Donau Soja finances certification & quality analyses for soya producers and first collectors, organises field days & training focused on knowledge transfer, and supports the development of stable value chains.

Together, we can make a real difference in promoting greater sustainability, traceability and a regional protein supply.

* The term sustainability refers to European soya production in accordance with the criteria of the Europe Soya Standard by Donau Soja.
