On 30 October 2026, the 25th international conference Fat & Oil Industry 2026 will take place in Kyiv, Ukraine. Donau Soja will join the event, where Volodymyr Puhachov, Executive Director for Eastern Europe at Donau Soja, will be one of the speakers.

Ukraine accounts for more than 30% of global exports of sunflower oil and sunflower meal. But strong export positions do not remove the pressure to adapt. Geopolitical shifts, volatile commodity and input prices, competition in key markets and changing trade flows all shape the choices facing the industry.
Participants will discuss the outlook for oilseed and processed products in the Black Sea region for the 2026/27 season, competition for markets, the availability, cost and quality of production resources, the impact of European integration on trade flows, and logistics risks. Together, these topics raise a practical question for businesses: how can they protect their market position while responding to rapidly changing conditions?

The conference will bring together processors, traders, brokers, importers, agroholdings, industry organisations, agricultural experts, equipment manufacturers, engineering companies and financial institutions from Ukraine, the EU, Türkiye, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries across Europe and Asia. APK-Inform is organising the event with support from the Ukroliaprom Association. The conference will run in Ukrainian and English, with simultaneous interpretation.
