On August 28, Donau Soja will participate in a Field Day focused on the topic: βHow to withstand an extreme season: sugar beet, maize, and soybean?β hosted by our partner Zakhidnyi Buh.
The event will bring together farmers, scientists, consultants, and representatives of the agricultural sector to discuss practical solutions for maintaining yields under weather-related stress, water shortages, and increasing production risks.
As part of the programme, participants will have the opportunity to learn about national and regional support programmes for farmers, explore upcoming requirements under the Law on Non-GM Products, and receive practical recommendations on growing sugar beet, soybeans, and maize.
Volodymyr Puhachov, Executive Director of the Donau Soja Association in Eastern Europe, will deliver a presentation titled βThe Law on Non-GM Products: What Should Farmers Prepare For?β
We would like to remind you that the new version of the Law on Non-GM Products will enter into force on September 16, 2026, with the aim of harmonizing the regulation and circulation of GMO products with European requirements.
