The Soya Farmers Support Project, launched by Donau Soja, empowers small and medium-sized soybean farmers in Ukraine to cultivate non-GM soybeans by providing partial financial coverage for certified original non-GM soybean seeds. Started in January 2023, this initiative demonstrates the benefits of certified seeds by offering Ukrainian farmers 15% compensation on their purchase, supporting their shift toward high-quality, EU-compliant practices.

Over two years of successful project implementation successfully achieved the following:

  • guidance for new soya farmers on non-GM Technology.
  • long-Term Supply Chain Resilience.
  • strengthening Regional Agro-Economic Stability.
  • positive Environmental Impact and Compliance with EU Regulations in Ukraine.
