QS Soyplus: Implementation with Donau Soja / Europe Soya

12 February, 2024

Since 1 January 2024 the German Qualität und Sicherheit (QS) certification requires all QS-certified feed companies, who produce or trade soy products, to comply with the requirements of the add-on module QS-Soyplus.

This is where Donau Soja comes into play and offers a solution for all Donau Soja partners who want to deliver into the QS System: The Donau Soja / Europe Soya Standard and Donau Soja Protein Partnerships have been recognized by QS and can be used to prove sustainable soy cultivation as part of the add-on module QS-Soyplus. The extra benefit: Donau Soja Protein Partnerships are the only book & claim option accepted by QS, which directly increases the availability of physically certified soy on the European market.

Additionally, Donau Soja provides a perfect solution for companies certified according to another feed safety standard like AMA pastus+ or GMP FRA MI 5.2. and 5.6 who want to deliver into the QS system:  Donau Soja / Europe Soya Standard and Donau Soja Protein Partnerships are also recognised by AMA pastus + for the add-on module Deforestation-free soya and in the GMP+ FRA MI 5.2 and 5.6 documents for responsible soy and feed as standards for the primary production of soybeans and Chain of Custody.

We would be happy to personally advise interested companies on how to proceed and work together to find the best solution to meet all (coming) requirements.
