Strengthening resilient and sustainable non-GM soya supply chains in Europe was at the heart of the panel moderated by Anastasiia Radiuk, our colleague from the Donau Soja Ukraine office, during the Baltic Grains & Oils Conference 2025 in Riga (16–17 April), organised by APK-Inform.
As panel moderator, Anastasiia led a high-level discussion on vegetable oils and meals, setting the stage for expert exchange on market developments, trade flows, and the strategic importance of non-GM soya in Europe.
In addition to moderating, she delivered a presentation titled “The European Soybean Meal and Oil Market: Trends and Trade Flow Patterns”, which addressed:
- The EU’s position in the global soymeal trade
- Non-GM soya: trade dynamics and consumption patterns
- Regulatory drivers and their impact on supply chains
- Current trends and outlook for the European soymeal market
- Her insights reflected Donau Soja’s core mission: fostering a sustainable, resilient, and GMO-free protein supply chain — grown in Europe, for Europe.
We thank APK-Inform for the excellent organisation and for providing the space for this timely and relevant dialogue.
