Donau Soja: Dagmar Gollan takes over Executive Director of the association

Vienna – The international organisation Donau Soja with its headquarters in Vienna has appointed an Executive Director with immediate effect. This was decided by the board on the proposal of President Matthias Krön, as the association and the number of its employees have grown considerably. Dagmar Gollan (38) will take over the management of the Donau Soja Association from February 2023. She studied food technology and food science at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU). The experienced expert has been working for the Donau Soja organisation for nine years and was most recently responsible for quality management and standard development at Donau Soja. Matthias Krön (53), founder of the association, will in his role as president in the future drive the further development of the association and its mission in Europe.

In addition to numerous other projects, Donau Soja will co-organise the World Soybean Research Conference in Vienna’s Austria Centre in June. Numerous international scientists, companies and experts from all over the world are expected to attend.

Donau Soja has more than 50 employees since 2023. In addition to the association’s headquarters in Vienna, the organisation has offices in Novi Sad/Serbia, Kiev/Ukraine, Chișinău/Republic of Moldova and a representative office in Romania.
