Building Food Security and Protein Resilience through the Three Seas Initiative
Donau Soja is pleased to announce the next Donau Soja Congress, taking place on 12 and 13 May 2027 in Warsaw, Poland.
Europe’s protein supply has become a central issue for agriculture, the economy and food security. Increasing European protein production, building reliable value chains and strengthening cooperation across sectors and borders will help reduce dependencies and prepare us for future challenges.
Held in Warsaw, the Congress will place particular focus on the Three Seas Region – linking the Baltic, Adriatic and Black Seas – and its potential to advance Europe’s future food and protein security.
The Donau Soja Congress 2027 will bring together members, partners and stakeholders from across Europe to discuss:
- The future of sustainable European protein production
- Resilient and transparent agri-food value chains
- Regional cooperation across the Three Seas region and wider Europe
- Europe’s role in strengthening its own protein security
The Congress will provide a space for strategic dialogue and practical exchange – connecting farmers, processors, businesses, policymakers, researchers and civil-society organisations.
