We are proud to contribute to the newly published 12th edition of “Agribusiness of Ukraine,” a comprehensive infographic guide to the country’s evolving agri-food sector – a comprehensive publication that captures the state of Ukraine’s agricultural sector in the fourth year of full-scale war and outlines key trends shaping the 2024/25 season and beyond.
Structured across seven thematic chapters – including crop and livestock production, processing, logistics, finance, and sustainability – this edition offers an accessible, visual overview of the sector’s performance and strategic shifts under wartime conditions. It also highlights new chapters on external trade, EU integration, AgriTech development, bioenergy, and climate adaptation.
Donau Soja contributed to the section on EU integration, highlighting the strategic role of soya as a European crop and a tool for building resilient, sustainable supply chains. Ukraine currently produces around 5 million tonnes of soya annually, with exports to the EU steadily increasing. Certified under the Donau Soja and Europe Soya standards, Ukrainian producers are making strong progress in aligning with key EU policies, including the Green Deal and CSRD.
The guide also features data from the Protein Partnership Programme, showcasing tools such as non-GM certification, geodata traceability, and verified carbon footprint values. For certified Donau Soja beans and meal, Scope 3 CO₂ emissions are reduced by up to 56% compared to conventional alternatives
We are proud to support this sector-wide effort to ensure Ukraine’s agricultural transition remains visible, transparent, and grounded in facts.
