At Greencovery we have developed a patented, gentle extraction technology that converts your okara into two valuable powerful ingredients: Okara Pro and Okara Tex. 

With exceptional emulsifying properties and natural creaminess, Okara Pro is perfect for applications like soy drinks, soy yoghurt, tofu, and even plant-based omelettes. It also shines as an animal fat alternative and a clean-label stabilizer in vegan ice cream.  

Okara Tex is a creamy, fiber-rich ingredient with impressive water-holding capacity. It’s a smart fat replacer that can be used in your soy-based texturized products (like yogurt) replacing non-soy ingredients. The product can also be used in baked goods like cakes and muffins – reducing fat and boosting nutritional properties. In vegan ice-cream it delivers creamy mouthfeel with fewer additives. 

We currently are looking for suppliers of okara for upscaling and commercializing our process.
