On 21 February, Donau Soja organised a tofu tour together with our member Angromix 77 at their production facility in Chisinau, Moldova. This event brought producers and consumers closer together, promoting transparency, dietary education, and the benefits of soya-based products.

Participants were offered an exclusive behind-the-scenes look to explore the secrets of tofu production – straight from the source. They explored the entire production process, learned about the health benefits and versatility of tofu and other soya products, and gained insights into requirements for soya producers. Attendees also had the opportunity to sample Angromix 77’s products, including tofu and hummus and other plant-based products.

The event brought together over 25 participants, including non-GM soya producers, consumers, business partners, influencers and press, nutritionists and dieticians, athletes and active people interested in plant-based protein diets.

This activity is implemented within the Strategic Partnership project with the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), supporting sustainable, non-GM soya production in Moldova and beyond.
