During the Microbiomes4Soy project, 100 soybean production fields were visited throughout Europe. Donau Soja as partner was supporting soil sampling in Austria and Hungary and met with farmers and talked about the current soybean production and challenges. For the project, soil samples were chosen with contrasting environmental conditions and agricultural practises. Analysing these soil samples will help to obtain information on the effects of agricultural practices on the performance of the microbiome.
