DONAU SOJA & EUROPE SOYA HARVEST 2025

1 MILLION TONnS | 13 COUNTRIES | 10% MARKET SHARE

We are proud to announce that farmers from 13 European countries harvested a total of 1 million tonnes of Donau Soja and Europe Soya certified soybeans in 2025. Our network of over 1000 certified partners are the basis of a traceable and reliable supply chain across Europe.

Around 10% of the total European non-GM soybean harvest is now Donau Soja & Europe Soya certified. The certification system includes approximately 200 collectors supplied by 9000 soybean producers who are actively contributing to sustainable farming practices while benefiting from improved market access and economic opportunities. In addition, 15 crushers are certified under Donau Soja/Europe Soya standards, or Non-GM Danube Region standards, complemented by 39 smaller soya processors, ensuring the availability of high quality products for various markets.

These achievements reflect the growing momentum for sustainable, non-GM agriculture in Europe. Donau Soja and Europe Soya remain committed to leading the transformation of agriculture towards a more sustainable, resilient, and traceable future.

15 CRUSHERS & 39 SOYA PROCESSORS

Soybean processors certified under the Donau Soja & Europe Soya standard are vital when it comes to the distribution of processed soya products. The number of businesses committed to sustainable and traceable European production, is constantly growing. These companies offer certified high-quality soya products for animal feed or human consumption. Their products are ranging from soybean meal, soya protein concentrates, press cake, toasted soybeans to oil or lecithin.

PROTEIN PARTNERSHIPS

Thanks to Protein Partnerships and their supporters even larger quantities of certified Donau Soja & Europe Soya beans were grown in Europe this season. By supporting local soya farmers in the main growing regions of South-Eastern and Eastern Europe, retailers and major food brands are making a valuable contribution to building up resilient supply chains from and for Europe.
