KLIMAFREUNDLICHE ALTERNATIVE<\/h4>\n<p>Es dreht sich alles um Soja. J\u00e4hrlich werden mehr als 35 Mio. Tonnen Sojabohnen\u00e4quivalente in die EU-27 importiert. Obwohl die Nachfrage nach Soja f\u00fcr den menschlichen Verzehr in den letzten Jahren gestiegen ist, wird der L\u00f6wenanteil der Sojaproduktion f\u00fcr Tierfutter verwendet. Bei der Produktion tierischer Lebensmittel entstehen bereits bei der Futtermittelproduktion relevante Mengen an Treibhausgasemissionen.<\/p>\n<p>Seit M\u00e4rz 2020 hat Donau Soja das Forschungsinstitut f\u00fcr biologischen Landbau (FiBL) \u00d6sterreich beauftragt zu untersuchen, wie sich die Verwendung von Donau Soja \/ Europe Soya-zertifizierten Sojaprodukten auf den CO<sub>2<\/sub>-Fu\u00dfabdruck von Lebens- und Futtermitteln auswirkt. Die Studien machen deutlich, dass der CO<sub>2<\/sub>-Fu\u00dfabdruck von Eiern ma\u00dfgeblich durch das Futter der Legehennen bestimmt wird.
