COMPANY HISTORY:

 

AGROGRNJA was founded in 1996 year, in a small village in the heart of Vojvodina - the region with the most fertile land in Southeastern Europe.

From a small family business, producing animal feed called "Pivnicki concentrate", over the years, AGROGRNJA has become a respectable company.

The company's business was started in one location and today, it has expanded to a total of 11 locations in Vojvodina (Pivnice, Ratkovo, Selenca, Backa Palanka, Ada, Novi Knezevac, Apatin, Conoplja, Ridjica, Kovacica and Sivac). In Pivnice, AGROGRNJA has storage facilities (warehouses: high to commercial goods) as well as two large floor warehouses, where the stored materials and mercantile goods.

In year 2008, company AGROGRNJA bought the silo complex in Ada, and thus significantly increase its storage capacity. Silo complex has a capacity of 14,000 t storage mercantile goods.

In year 2013, AGROGRNJA began to work on activities that will allow trade with agricultural products internationally. By mid- 2015, AGROGRNJA will complete this activity and thus become one of the most competitive companies in Serbia, engaged in agribusiness.

ACTIVITY:

The primary activity of the company AGROGRNJA is the contracting of agricultural production (cooperation), with farmers in Vojvodina. The essence of cooperation lies in the fact that AGROGRNJA is supplying small farmers with the necessary raw materials (seeds, fertilizer and chemical preservatives) and farmers deliver agricultural products to AGROGRNJA. Purchase of agricultural products (free redemption) is also one of the main activities of AGROGRNJA.

AGROGRNJA purchases the following agricultural products (mercantile goods):

  • Canola
  • Barley
  • Wheat
  • Sunflower
  • Soya
  • Corn

POTENTIAL:

AGROGRNJA works with over 2,000 individual farmers (cooperatives).

Cooperation with farmers company AGROGRNJA has the ability to purchase the following amounts of mercantile goods, on an annual basis:

  • Canola = approx. 1,000 t
  • Barley = approx. 2,000 t
  • Wheat = approx. 25,000 t
  • Sunflower = approx. 12,000 t
  • Soya = approx. 12,000 t
  • Corn = approx. 25,000 t
